SuiteWorld 2016 is approaching, and is now only a few weeks away. If you're unfamiliar with it, know this: it's the world's largest gathering of NetSuite users, partners and developers. It's an excellent opportunity to get inspired, learn, and network with other users and solution providers.
In addition to our three brilliant keynote speakers, there are over 160 breakout sessions and so you may be wondering which the best ones to go to are. Lucky for you, I've picked my top 5, which I think will give you a lot to think about, as well as feeling emboldened to go back to work on Monday to make your ideas a reality.
#1: MKS1675 — The SuiteCommerce Advantage: An Introduction to the SuiteCommerce Advanced Ecommerce Platform
If you've still not made the switch to SuiteCommerce Advanced then head over to hear Owen Fayle, Manager of Solution Consulting. He's going to talk about how SCA is the ideal way to build ecommerce experiences for all devices.
You'll learn about how you can increase conversions and revenue, and how it differs from Site Builder. It'll include an overview of the SuiteCommerce platform and a live demo of the product's key capabilities, so it's a great primer for non-technical folk and for those about to get started on the platform.
#2: DEV1606 — Going Beyond the Basics: Developing for SuiteCommerce Advanced Websites
Pablo Zignani, Professional Services Senior Web Developer, was one of the people who dedicated a lot of their time to help train me and get started on SuiteCommerce Advanced, which I translated into this tutorial. He also provided a lot of information on field set and facet optimization. In short: this guy knows how to write code and how to write it well.
Therefore, you'll be pleased to know that he and Eduardo Souto, Principal Pre-Sales Solution Consultant, are giving a workshop session on going beyond the tutorial article. Specifically, they're going to take you through the process of adding a testimonials module.
Great for those with some experience and are looking to gain confidence in their abilities.
#3: DEV1691 — SuiteCommerce Advanced: Troubleshooting and Debugging
#4: DEV1578 — Speed Thrills: Optimizing the Performance of a SuiteCommerce Website
Studies show a direct correlation between website performance and conversion rates. In other words, a fast website is critical to success.
Diego Cardozo and Mark Sweeting, Senior Web Performance Engineers, both have plenty of experience when it comes to site performance. As you build and customize your site, you'll want to know the best practices for ensuring that your site remains fast.
#5: MKS1577 — On the Horizon: SuiteCommerce Product Strategy and Roadmap
My final recommendation is a session on what's coming up in the SuiteCommerce Advanced roadmap. As you may know, we frequently update the roadmap page with this information; what you may not know is that it's updated by Mariano Ferrario, Director of Ecommerce Solutions, who you may remember from my article on Denali 2.
In this session he'll be joined by Rebecca Nathenson, Director of Commerce Product Management, and they'll be taking you through some of the good things we're working on and aiming to deliver in near and medium future.
If you haven't bought your ticket yet, there's still time to secure the standard ticket price. Head over to NetSuiteSuiteWorld.com for details about the event and the registration process.
If you are registered and ready to go, check out the full session catalog and start planning your breakout sessions!
What sessions are you looking forward to attending at SuiteWorld 2016?
