You can define the content used in your website email using:
System Email Templates – these are used for system-automated email in NetSuite and can also be used for website email. System email templates are the default option for website email.
If you have the Multi-Language feature enabled, you can set up multiple language versions of the same email template. Web store users receive the email message in their preferred language.
Website email based on system email templates can be previewed within NetSuite so that you can check what exactly is being sent to website customer. See System Email Templates for Web Stores for more details.
Web Store Email Templates – these are available for website emails only. If you have the Multi-Language feature enabled, you must create separate email templates for each supported language. See Web Store Email Templates.
Customized Text Groups – If you choose not to use system email templates or web store email templates, all the content used in email messages comes from the Email subtab on the Customize Web Site Text page at Setup > SuiteCommerce Advanced > Customize Text. For more information, see the help topic Customizing Web Store Email Messages.
Web store email templates and customized text groups for emails are being phased out. You should switch to using system email templates for website email as soon as possible.
